Baylor Sailing

Baylor Sailing is a dual part club geared towards students and faculty that share a love for sailing. It consists of both the Baylor University Sailing Club (BUSC) and the Baylor University Sailing Team (BST). BUSC is geared towards the recreational sailor who simply enjoys being out on the water in a sailboat. BST, on the other hand, is focused for the students that wish to represent Baylor in the intercollegiate sport of sailing. No prior sailing experience is needed, regardless if you desire to race or to cruise. Baylor Sailing has five 420 double-hand boats and one Columbia 22 cruising boat.

The Baylor Sailing Team competes in intercollegiate regattas against other schools in the South Eastern Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SEISA). BST most frequent opponents include the University of Texas, Texas A&M, Kansas, Southern Methodist University, Tulane, University of New Orleans, A&M Galveston, Rice, LSU, and University of West Florida.

The team sails out of Ridgewood Country Club on Friday afternoons.  Usually we meet at the SLC at 2:30 to ride out there or just meet us there.  There are directions on the map page.
