This section is slightly dated in terms of some services - but is conceptually current. What concepts from your community & culture class apply to what you are reading?

- Hispanic Health Beliefs & Practices: Identify (1) three key cultural characteristics related to communications, social structure, and health behaviors and (2) specific behaviors you might employ to enhance your ability to operate effectively in each area (communications, etc.).

- Flow sheets for diagnoses commonly seen at Agape: Diabetes, Hypertension, & Asthma (I am giving you a hard copy of a good, brief asthma assessment guide). Also Congestive heart failure and Child abuse. You are expected to use these for assessment and assistance in teaching beginning week one.
