How to pay bus fares: Ticket vending machines on railway platforms or exact cash or change. If you do not have a DART pass, you may pay your fare with the exact change as you board your bus. The fare boxes located on the bus will accept $1.00 bills, coins etc.

How to pay DART rail fares: You may buy single ride tickets and day passes from the ticket vending machines on all rail platforms. Follow the instructions listed on the machine on how to purchase your tickets. Ticket vending machines will accept coins as well as $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 bills.

Directions to Parkland by Dart Bus:

Dart Bus phone (214) 979-1111. From South Garland Rd. got to the South Garland Transit Center located on Shiloh Rd. and 635 and take bus #428 (Medical Center). From Central Garland go to the Central Garland Transit Center located on Walnut and 5th St. and take bus #428 (Medical Center).

Financial Responsibilities:

Patients must meet specific financial criteria in order to be seen without paying. In order to apply for financial assistance, bring proof of identification, residence, proof of all income, proof of unemployment, and proof of family size. However, some patients may have to pay for visits, procedures, and medications. Call the Texas Employment Commission at (214) 372-1471 if you are unable to get a letter of employment/unemployment. Bring Social Security Card and picture ID.
