Agape is a ministry of Grace United Methodist Church. Community Care is a ministry & service-learning program of Louise Herrington School of Nursing at Baylor University. Community partners include Common Grace Ministries, Highland Park United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Emanuel Lutheran Church, East Dallas Cooperative Parish, Gardeners in Community Development, and other health, spiritual, and social service organizations. We are dedicated to the glory of God and to the lifting up of His people.

Services are provided (1) at Grace United Methodist Church, 4105 Junius Street at Haskell (click map below) in the heart of Old East Dallas and (2) on the streets and in apartments, houses, churches, and community centers of Old East Dallas. Clinic days/hours (adults & children):

  • Miércoles/Wednesday: No clinic - Outreach and community education only Open for Katrina evacuees: 8:00 - 4:00 through October and possibly afterward
  • Jueves/Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • Viernes/Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
  • Sabado/Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

New The Aetna Foundation awarded a grant to support the Healthy Families program linking community health services of Baylor School of Nursing, Agape, and the community with Zaragoza Elementary School. The Aetna grant will help narrow disparities in health & healthcare in the Hispanic community of East Dallas through programs of community partners.
