Sisterhood

"What is a sister?
A biological sister is one who shares the same parent or set of parents as you. But what is a sister?
That question is about more than geneology. A sister is someone who shares something with you that no other person can share. A sister is a friend, but more than a friend. So, what is a sister?
There's no phrase or definition that can explain the relationship between sisters. The only way to know is if you have one for yourself. I have had two sisters most of my life. Now I have hundreds. I have so many sisters in my chapter at Baylor and I have every member of every chapter throughout the United States. The sisterhood in my chapter is what first attracted me to them. The obvious love and respect shown by each member was baffling to me. How can a group of so many girls truly care that much about each other? Well, they can, and they do. And so often I look around and realize how lucky I am to be a part of that. My sisterhood is one that I pride myself in. As sisterhood chair of my chapter, I am constantly looking for ways to improve our sisterhood. And sure, there will always be ways to improve it, but the sisterhood itself will never change. It is something that was established with the founding of Kappa Delta and something that will continue throughout the lives of each of its members. So, what is a sister? What is a sisterhood? Come find out."
That's Kappa Delta sisterhood.
