Shamrock
In the spring, Kappa Delta hosts an all-university male softball tournament to benefit our philathropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. This past year Kappa Delta raised over $7,000 for PCAA and the Children's Advocacy Center in Waco. Even better, we got to spend the weekend cheering on the twenty-six teams involved. Last year's winning team was Phi Chi, and FIJI came in a close second.
All-University SING
Kappa Delta performs annually in All-University SING and competes for a spot in Pigskin Revue (which takes place during Homecoming in the Fall). Our last performance was a fun beach theme, entitled "Just Add Summertime."
Stompfest
Kappa Delta takes part in Baylor's Stompfest each year, which is a step show put on by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Last year we placed third thanks to the help of our fantastic coaches, Rahim Wooley, Cornell King, and Maurice Linguist from Omega Psi Phi. The money we won benefited our philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America.
Battle of the Bands
In the fall, Kappa Delta teams up with Place 2BU to put on Battle of the Bands. Students fill the SUB to hang out with friends, enjoy free food, and, most importantly, watch local bands compete. This year's winner was Autumn Lights.
Homecoming Float
During Homecoming, Kappa Delta teams up with another group to compete in the float competition. This year, KΔ had fun with Lambda Chi Alpha creating a Wizard of Oz float: "You're Not in Kansas Anymore, You're in Bear Country!" for our game against Kansas!
