Dr.
David W. Schlueter, Ph.D. (BBA., U of Cincinnati; M.A., ibid;
Ph.D., University of Missouri-Columbia) is a Professor of Communication,
and the Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Communication
Studies. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational
communication, small group communication, and communication theory.
His research interests include organizational socialization and change,
social influence, and gender and communication. His research has been
published in the Journal of Applied Communication Research,
Communication Studies, Western Journal of Communication,
Southern Communication Journal, and Personnel Journal.
He has recently finished an organizational communication book for
Allyn and Bacon which will be available in the fall. Dr. Schlueter
is married to Jane Schlueter, and they have three children: Scott,
age 23; Eric, age 13; and, Bobby, age 11. He enjoys listening to music,
playing golf, fishing, and watching college basketball. |
