Mark T. Morman is an assistant professor of communication studies at Baylor University. he teaches courses in interpersonal, nonverbal, and small group communication. Mark's research interest is focused on human relationships and the expression of affection and intimacy within them. He is also interested in male-male friendships and father-son relationships. Another line of research he is working on relates to men's health issues and the effectiveness of messages designed to get men to start performing cancer self-examination behaviors. He has had his work published in regional and national communication journals like the Western Journal of Communication and the Journal of Applied Communication Research. He has received both teaching and research recognition awards from various national organizations. Mark holds both the Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Kansas and has a B.S. in communication studies from Southern Utah University. |
