That's right! We're having a tournament on Fountain Mall September 27th from 5:30-7:30 to find a Rock, Paper, Sissors Champion.
It will work by forming two lines for the first round and then playing until the last three remain. We are getting a live band as well as having a cookout for participants. The prize for the 3rd place winner is $100, 2nd place will receive $200, and 1st will receive $300.
Your ticket in is to buy a t-shirt that we will be selling during lunch at Penland, Collins, and the SUB. The money raised from T-shirt sales and donations will go to the Ronald McDonald House. We will also be holding a can food drive during the event.
So, get your shirt and get ready to Rock! Paper! Sissors!

We welcomed all the Zeta Chi sisters back to campus with a back-to-school dinner. Thanks to the Alpha Delta Pi Mom's Club from Houston for the food for the evening! We gathered to celebrate our reunion and our summer news.
Over the summer we had an addition to the chapter suite. We now have beautiful curtains on the window wall. Check back soon for updated pictures of the chapter room.
Also, the chapter won several awards over the summer! Our advisor Holly, president Mandy, and member Beth Anne went to National Convention this summer and returned with many silver awards to adorn the chapter's display case. Here's a summary of our achievements:

The Baylor Student Life Awards Ceremony topped off another amazing ΑΔΠ year! Out of the 325 Baylor organizations, the Student Life Faculty/Staff unanimously selected Alpha Delta Pi as the Student Organization of the Year. This award recognizes top achievement in the four standards of excellence including scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and fellowship. Student Life presented Zeta Chi Chapter with a beautiful trophy of a silver Baylor Bear along with a check for $1,000.
At the same ceremony, Alpha Delta Pi received the Herbert H. Reynolds Award of Fraternal Excellence; ADPi was one of four sororities at Baylor to achieve this honor.
Individual ΑΔΠ Members were also recognized for their outstanding achievements, including:
We initiated our last group of Delta! Join us in welcoming the newest members of Zeta Chi Chapter:
Congratulations to Catherine Cyrier who received the Greek New Member of the Year Award during the Greek Week awards ceremony held today. We are excited by all our amazing new members, and we are glad to have Panhellenic honor one of these outstanding ladies. Catherine joined our chapter this January and has shown the true spirit of Alpha Delta Pi and Panhellenic in these past three months.
This is the third year in a row that a new member of Alpha Delta Pi has received this honor. Previous winners were Erin Seavey in 2006 and Mallory Driggers in 2005.
On March 2nd and 3rd, Zeta Chi Chapter had the honor of welcoming Alpha Delta Pi collegians and alumnae from all over the state of Texas and from the Alpha Delta Pi Executive Office. We enjoyed hosting our sisters in our chapter room on Friday evening and in the Bill Daniel Student Center for the convention on Saturday.

Sisters make preparations Saturday morning in the SUB.
Last year we attended the state convention to be the entertainment for the day, and this year, our newest members performed several songs, including our National Blessing, for the attendees. Also, our chapter was recognized with two awards at the convention. We recieved a hospitality award, and we received a Panhellenic Award from the Dallas Alumni Association.
As always, we enjoyed the chance to celebrate another year of sisterhood in Texas. Thanks to all who helped make this weekend possible.
This past weekend, our officers traveled to the Alpha Delta Pi, District V, District Leadership Conference (DLC) in Tulsa, Oklahoma to learn more about leadership and to get prepared for another successful year at Zeta Chi Chapter. The Sisters of Alpha Delta Pi congratulate the top five winners of the 2006 Great Lion Hunt!

Also, Alpha Delta Pi congratulates Dr. Tom Hanks, the 2006 Keeper of the Lion! With this award, we gratefully acknowledge his commitment to philanthropy and excellence in teaching. (Yes, Alphie was hidden in Dr. Hanks' office!)
Thank you also to everyone who participated in this year's Alpha Delta Pi All University Lion Hunt, which helped to raise needed funds for the children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House charities!
Last weekend, Alpha Delta Pi mustered up our Baylor school spirit and had a wonderful homecoming. Thanks to all the alumnae and parents who came to the bonfire, parade, and barbeque!
We served free hot chocolate at our both at the bonfire Friday night. Also, at the bonfire, Alpha Delta Pi was announced as the highest donator out of the greek organizations in the homecoming canned food drive.

Gabby Remolona, our Homecoming Queen Nominee
Saturday morning, we had a wonderful time at the parade; this year we had two entries. Our homecoming nominee, Gabby Remolona, rode in the parade, and she was followed by our Alpha Delta Pi float, which was themed "We Can Make a Difference." Instead of building a traditional float this year, we decided to donate our float budget to the Ronald McDonald House. With our budget and other funds, we donated a total of $7,000. Thanks to all those who donated time and money to help make this year's float possible!!
Following the parade, we joined up with alumnae and parents in touchdown alley for our annual Homecoming Barbeque. Then, to top off a great weekend, Baylor won our homecoming game! Sic'em Bears!

Alpha Delta Pi would like to say a special thank you to Jeff Weathers, Kevin Peeples, Shannon Daily, and Holly Gerard for all of their wonderful help with creating our website!
