Contest Overview

Alpha Delta Pi, founded in 1851 as the oldest secret society in the world for women, opened a chapter on Baylor’s campus in the fall of 1980. As we celebrate our 25th year at Baylor, in all of the excitement, our lion mascot Alphie ‘wandered’ off and is now lost somewhere on campus. We need everyone’s help at Baylor to help find him before we head off to Dallas for our 25th Anniversary Gala Formal in November.

How the Contest Works

Beginning August 30th and running every other Tuesday until November 8th, clues will appear in the Lariat leading students to where our lion is located on campus. We have not hidden an actual lion anywhere, but there is a representation which will let you know that you have found him! Simply be watching for clues to appear in the Lariat, or check our website every other Tuesday and see if you can 'find' Alphie!

If you think you know where he is, simply send an email to (email removed because contest has ended). The first five people that identify his correct location on campus will win great prizes!

Prizes

The game is open to all Baylor students with the exception of members of Alpha Delta Pi. All students have an equal chance of winning. Prizes will be awarded at the November 15th Dr. Pepper Hour in the Barfield Drawing Room. All Baylor students are invited to the event and to celebrate Alpha Delta Pi's 25th anniversary!
