Alpha Delta Pi sorority seeks women of character, who follow our ideals of LOYALTY to each other and God, HONESTY in all that we do, PURITY of heart and womanhood, STRENGTH of character and purpose, INTEGRITY as individuals and a chapter, FRIENDSHIP of sisterhood sealed by love, and SERVICE to others.

We are excited that you are considering membership in one of Baylor’s nine national sororities, which each have a meeting suite in the Riddle Forum Panhellenic Building. Joining a Greek organization not only enhances your Baylor experience, but also opens doors after college with job contacts, alumnae organizations, and service opportunities ~ membership in a national Greek organization is for an entire lifetime.

Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the oldest secret society in the world for women. With over 200,000 initiates and hundreds of chapters and alumnae associations around the world, almost anywhere you go you will find Alpha Delta Pi sisters and the loyalty and friendship we all share. Recommendations for membership, which can be provided for you by any Alpha Delta Pi alumnae in good standing, can be sent to:

Recommendation letters by Alpha Delta Pi alumnae are accepted year round, but to be able to use the information contained for consideration during 2007-2008 recruitment, they must be received by October 15th, 2007.

If you plan to register for Baylor Panhellenic Recruitment that will determine Spring New Members for each Panhellenic organization, here is the information you should know: The university grade requirement to be able to participate in January, 2008 recruitment is a 2.5 cumulative GPA with 12 completed Baylor hours.

Fall Parties Mandatory for all potential members

October 26, 2007 ~ 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. &
October 27, 2007 ~ 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Mandatory Parties in the Stacy Riddle Forum Sorority Chapter Suites
During the October parties, you will visit each of the nine NPC member sorority rooms to meet the members and watch a song/chant routine that each sorority’s new members perform.

Assembly in Waco Hall at 8:00 a.m.
Parties in the Stacy Riddle Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Assembly in Waco Hall at 4:30 p.m.
During your visit to the sorority parties, each party you attend will feature a slide show of the events and activities each organization participates in yearly.
January 10, 2008 ~ Skit Day
Assembly in Waco Hall at 8:00 a.m.
Parties in the Stacy Riddle Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Assembly in Waco Hall at 12:30 p.m.
Skit Day features great themes and entertaining programs by sorority chapter members to help give you more information on the organization in a fun, casual way!
January 11, 2008 ~ Preference Day
Assembly in Waco Hall at 8:00 a.m.
Parties in the Stacy Riddle Forum from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Assembly in Waco Hall at 12:00 noon
You will attend two preference parties, a more serious program which helps to define what each sorority stands for and what they can offer you with membership.

Finally, the day you (and we!) have been waiting for! Sororities hold welcome parties in each chapter suite to welcome the newest members of the sorority!
