CURRENTLY in its 15th year of publication, Analysis of Current Events is dedicated to disseminating fresh analyses of key events being faced by the transition states of Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and societies along this region's periphery, including Turkey, Iran, and China.

ACE's editorial board is headed up by Troy McGrath of Seton Hall University, Shale Horowitz of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, and Michael Long of Baylor University. Since fall 2000, ACE has been hosted by Baylor University, where it is produced by the Slavic & East European Studies programs.

THE FALL 2000 issue of ACE began a new format, with ACE going to a quarterly publication schedule. Despite the change in format, ACE remains devoted to publishing timely pieces on issues of pressing concern.
