Professional & Organizational Development

The mission of the department of Professional & Organizational Development, (POD), is to help make Baylor a better place to work and a place where people can do better work. We accomplish our mission by providing an array of professional development opportunities including new employee orientation (W.O.W.), professional development workshops, lunch and learn opportunities, professional development grants, and a library of books and videos that can be checked out for self-paced learning. We also provide organizational development services for departments upon request. These services include organizational diagnostics, team building, customized training, and consultation on continuous improvement projects.
