ATTENTION, LOOK HERE!!! Baylor PDK will host Dr. Ricardo Garcia on October 12, 2006, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at the Waco ISD Texas Playhouse Theatre. Dr. Garcia will speak on Building Community in Schools and the Classroom. Participants will hear how K-12 teachers, administrators, teacher educators, and teacher candidates can use community building strategies to assist their students to work in a diverse, democratic society and lead productive, socially responsible lives. Through the use of case studies, this presentation provides various strategies for building community in the school and the community.
