The following database resources are available in the Science/Engineering
library:
- Applied Science and Technology Index - provides information in
many different areas including Chemistry and chemical engineering.
- Biological Abstracts
Bibliographic database produced by BIOSIS and is recognized as the primary
and most authoritative source of life sciences information in the U.S.
It has been published since 1926 and is international in scope with over
9,000 journals cited, with about 20% in languages other than English.Topics
covered range from studies of microorganisms to human biology and includes
such disciplines as ecology, biochemistry, taxonomy, agriculture, etc.

If you've tried all of our other suggestions, and still need more help
or information, we have one last ray of hope. Please ask at the
Science/Engineering Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Jones Library
or call x2330 to make an appointment with a librarian for research assistance.
DIALOG's CIP offers more than 400 files and is available to Baylor faculty
and students free of charge when searches are curriculum related.
