major research resource, this site is the most comprehensive listing
of archival web sites extant. A listing of of over 750 websites describing
holdings of manuscripts, archives, rare books, historical photographs,
and other primary sources for the research. It is maintained by Terry
Abraham of the University of Idaho.

Contains
links to various congressional resources. Official listings for all
Senators and
House Members. Also includes links to Thomas: Legislative Information

Collections at Archival Depositories
This
list of web sites which provide information about congressional holdings
is presented alphabetically by name of holding institution or organization.
The best printed sources for locating congressional papers are the Guide
to Research Collections of Former Members of the United States House
of Representatives, 1789-1987 and the Guide to Research Collections
of Former United States Senators, 1789-1995. Some web sites found
on the list provide detailed, collection-specific descriptions. Other
sites only mention congressional collections in the broader scope of
their repository holdings.

Papers Roundtable SAA
Under the Society
of American Archivists, this group of approximately 150 members
is a network for archivists, historians, congressional staff, and any
others involved with congressional research or management of congressional
papers. The Roundtable steering committee plans sessions and programs
held during the annual SAA meeting. The Roundtable also publishes a
newsletter.
