1952 - Member of record setting junior high track relay team

1953 - Polio left Bob Thomas in a wheelchair the rest of his life

1955 - Graduate, Waco High School

1958 - Graduate, Baylor University, BBA, Accounting

1960 - Graduate, Baylor Law School, LLB, First in his class

1961 - Began law practice in Waco, Tax and general practice

1967-1970 - Texas House of Representatives, McLennan County

1970-1982 - County Judge of McLennan County

1971 - Honored by Texas Jaycees as one of
_____"Five Outstanding Young Men of Texas"

1973 - Honored by U. S. Jaycees as one of
_____"Ten Outstanding Young Men of the United States"

1980 - Member, Task Force to revise Texas Mental Health Code

1980-1984 - Consultant to Commissioner of Texas Rehabilitation Commission

1982-1988 - Justice of the Tenth Court of Appeals

1984-1986 - Chairman, Texas Council on Disabilities

1987 - Honored as Texas "Disabled Person of the Year"

1989-1996 - Chief Justice of the Tenth Court of Appeals

1992 - Chairman, Texas Council of Chief Justices

1996 - Died February 21, Waco, Texas
