Regulations for Use of Materials
You will sent to your requested form or page after you read and agree to the Regulations herein:
1. INFORMATION: To request information, visitors to the Baylor Collections of Political Materials web site are asked to read these regulations and click on the I Agree button. You will then be sent to the Information Request Form.
2. PHOTOCOPIES: Fascimile reproduction of BCPM holdings may be requested. Special arrangements may also be made for digitization of some materials. A link to the Photoduplication Request Form will follow this Regulations form.
3. COPYRIGHTS: Persons making use of materials or information from the holdings of the BCPM are reminded of the existence of libel laws and of the need for due regard for property rights, literary rights and, when applicable, for copyright. The BCPM is not responsible for the researcher's infringement on any of the above laws and rights.
4. RESTRICTIONS: The staff of the BCPM should be consulted concerning any restrictions or special provisions which may apply to BCPM holdings. If special restrictions or conditions have been placed upon the use of certain materials, the researcher must also file with the BCPM a copy of any rights, permissions or privileges secured from their holders in regard to the use of restricted materials.
5. PUBLICATION: Written authorization for publication or other use of the Collections materials must be obtained from the Director of the Collections of Political Materials. Requests for authorization should include a statement of the specific documents or portions whose use is requested. A link to the Permission to Publish Form will follow this Regulations form.
6. CITATION: The form of citation of materials from the BCPM will be: [Identification of collection or record group]. Baylor University Collections of Political Materials.Waco, Texas. EXAMPLE: Sam B. Hall Papers. Baylor University Collections of Political Materials. Waco, Texas.
