Dedication of the Poage Legislative Library
at Baylor - (L-R) Frances Poage, W. W. Callan,
Herbert Reynolds, Poage, Abner McCall. Poage in Waco - Poage's office in the W. R.
Poage Legislative Library. The desk is the one he
used in Washington Miss Nellie's Pretty Place - Poage's mother
gathered wildflowers here before he was born. The
city of Waco has restored the area as a wildflower
garden. The Poage Lot in Oakwood Cemetery. Poage
rests here between his wife and his mother. This is the doorway to the first floor of the
Carroll Library Building where the Frances C. Poage
Texas Map room is located as a part of the Texas
Collection. The last three Poage relatives in 1985. Bob
Poage, Scott T. Poage, and Scott A. Poage. |
