The 11th District in 1937 - In 1937 the 11th
District was a six-county unit of like needs and
interests. It retained its identity for thirty
years. W. R. Poage photo used in his campaigning for
the 11th District. He represented this district for
42 years. The 11th District in 1979 - By the time Poage
retired in 1979, the 11th District comprised all of
