The Baylor Collections of Political Materials (BCPM) special collections library was opened in 1979 to preserve papers related to the legislative process at the local, state, and federal levels.  More >

The BCPM research library is adjacent to the main Baylor Library complex. Computers and wireless laptops are available for researcher use. A special computer workstation with accessibility features is configured with hardware and software for the hearing and visually impaired and is wheelchair accessible. Both dining and hotel accommodations are only blocks away.

For curbside drop-off:
From Interstate 35 in Waco, take the University Parks Drive exit (exit 335B). Turn right at the Weithorn Visitor's Center and flagpoles. Follow the drive around the Jones Library (a one way campus street). Watch for glass facade (in picture above). The Bullock Archive is on the left in the W. R. Poage Legislative Library for Graduate Studies and Research (building 57 in the map below). The Archive main desk is on the first floor.

For parking:
From Interstate 35 in Waco, take the University Parks exit (exit 335B). Turn right on Dutton Avenue or the next stoplight. The parking garage (62) is at this intersection (see below).

The nearest and best visitor parking to the W. R. Poage Legislative Library building and the Bullock Archive (57) is available at the Dutton Avenue Office and Parking Facility (62) at the corner of Dutton Avenue and University Parks Drive. Garage entrances are on either side. Visitor parking is also available in more limited quantities in several nearby parking lots (64).
