Collection Statement

Don Adams was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1969 and the Texas Senate in 1972. Although several universities courted Sen. Adams for his papers, he chose Baylor in 1980. At that time Don Adams was chairman of the Texas Industrial Commission.
