Library Research Tisch Library at Tufts University
- This site covers the general research process, with extra topics
aimed at the sciences. Explores the cycle of scientific literature
and lists and explains primary and secondary sources in the field
of Biology. Citation examples are given, and there is a section on
how to evaluate sources. This tutorial would be useful for basic science
courses in other areas than Biology.

Research Guides for Criminal Justice Indiana University
Libraries Research Collections
- This site is a guide primarily to information sources available
at Indiana University, but would be useful to anyone looking for information
in this subject area. It includes guides to searching strategies for
books, periodicals, and newspapers, statistics, and Internet sources.
Research guides were adapted from class handouts that Robert Goehlert
developed and include lists of reference sources, indexes, and journals,
including a guide to the use of LEXIS/NEXIS. An interesting addition
is a collection development policy and a summary of the sources of
materials for the collection.
