The Bylaws Committee wishes to clarify one of the proposed changes included on page 11 of the September 1998 LIRT News:  the Past Treasurer will serve as chair of the Five-Year Financial Planning Subcommittee.  Wording in Section V. D. under Long Range Planning, Five-Year Financial Planning Subcommittee will read, "The Past Treasurer shall serve as chair of this subcommittee. The Treasurer and Vice Treasurer shall serve as members of this subcommittee."

Also, Liaison and Long Range Planning are two separate committees and should have been listed on separate lines in the proposed changes to Section V. D.
