From the time of it's chartering on November 6, 1960, Kappa Omega Tau has been a special fraternity dedicated to preserving Baylor traditions and starting new ones. From its inception, KOT wanted to be a different fraternity, one that had high standards, a strong brotherhood, and a service-oriented membership. It took the name Knights of Tradition with the Greek letters KOT. Each member of KOT srtives to serve in his own way. Although KOT has a diverse membership, its brotherhood remains its strength.
