James Foster

James Foster, Senior Lecturer, received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 1986.
He has published articles on Swift and Defoe. His areas of interest include eighteenth-century English literature, narratology, the history of critical theory, and science fiction and fantasy. He also teaches advanced expository writing in the Professional Writing Program.
