Bob Darden

Robert Darden, Assistant Professor of English, joined the Baylor faculty full-time in 1999 after writing professionally and teaching part-time for the previous 10 years. Robert spent 12 years as Gospel Music Editor for "Billboard" magazine and since 1988 has been Senior Editor of "The Door Magazine," the world's oldest and largest (and probably only) religious humor and satire magazine. He's been published in dozens of magazines and newspapers. His teaching, research and writing interests include the Branch Davidians, gospel music, religious humor and satire, Texas history, screenplay and scriptwriting, editorial cartooning, cinema, and writing for the popular market.
