Becoming A Diamond Girl
A lot goes into the selection of the Diamond Girl squad each year. Unfortunately, the deadline has passed for the current academic year. If you are interested, be on the lookout for flyers and chalking during the first two weeks of the 2000-2001 school year.

The process begins with an informational meeting during the first week of September. At this meeting, our captain will briefly explain the expectations and responsibilities of a Diamond Girl. You will also receive an application. The application allows the selectors to know a little about you before the interview. During the next week, interviews will be held in front of a small panel consisting of about five or six people related to Baylor's baseball program. People selected are contacted by phone the night of the interviews. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to select every girl who tries out, so many qualified canidates will be turned down. These girls will be notified by mail.

If you are interested in trying out for Baylor Baseball Diamond Girls for the 2000-2001 school year, please e-mail our webmaster at Erin_McDermott@baylor.edu so that you can be notified when the process will begin next year.
