Our Purpose

[C]lasped [H]ands [I]n [S]ervice is a women's service organization at Baylor University. Our purpose is to render service to the student body, the administration, and to the community, thus encouraging campus friendships and fostering a cooperative spirit between university and community.

Hey Everybody! We won Baylor's highly coveted Citizenship Award from Student Organizations!

Student Orgs says this about our greatness:

The Standard of Excellene for Citizenship award went to CHI'S Service Sorority. CHI'S was recognized for their dedication to serving the Waco and Baylor communities. The ladies of CHI'S completed more service hours per capita than any other student organization at Baylor in 2007-08. One letter of recommendation supporting the group's application noted, "[CHI'S] is wonderfully inclusive, has strong leadership, and exudes a spirit of warmth and fun among its members. The club was founded to provide a women's organization dedicated specifically to service on campus and in the community. The current members epitomize the founders' dreams."
