The Hampton Inn is located about 1.25 miles east of the Samford University campus (which is on Lakeshore Drive) at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and U.S. Highway 280. The cost is $67 per room (king size bed), single or double occupancy, and includes breakfast at the hotel. Please make reservations with the hotel by Friday, September 5, 1997 and ask for the BAPT rate.

At the same highway intersection is Mountain Brook Inn, 2800 U.S. Highway 280, Homewood, AL 35223, (205) 870-3100. The rates are $72 single or $92 double. Also consider Days Inn South, 1535 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover 35216, (205) 822-6030. This motel is six miles from campus, on I-65 about five miles south of Lakeshore Drive. Rates are $50 single and $60 double.
