Welcome to the
Baptist Association of Philosophy Teachers
Web Site

The Baptist Association of Philosophy Teachers (BAPT), organized in 1987, exists to support the teaching of philosophy on baptist campuses, to enhance the intellectual tradition of baptists, and to provide a forum for the integration of evangelical Christian faith with philosophical scholarship.

BAPT serves its members as a forum for shared concerns, a sounding board for addressing philosophical issues, and a network for the encouragement of professional development. At this site, you will find a variety of materials including a directory of members, announcements for future conferences and seminars, related links, and (in time) selected essays.
