This page contains my reviews of all the games of Neopia. See one you want to try? You can click on the play link and go straight to it. Keep in mind that these are my opinions. Do not contact me complaining about what I write. If you like the game, great; if not, that's great too. If you would like to make suggestions, or if you find a game that I have somehow overlooked, feel free to neomail me.
It's official...I am currently addicted to NeoQuest.
For all of you who have been asking for NeoQuest help, be sure to check
out these incredible maps
made by hijoguchi.
It may be a few days before I update the site again, because I must finish
this game on the INSANE setting.![]()
If you know what game you are looking for, use the alphabet link to quickly find that game. Otherwise, scroll down to browse.

Description
If you like this, try these:
To win you need to have a larger
fleet than your opponent when all spaces are filled or one of you has
no further moves. Create new "ships" or capture those of your
oponent.
This is a multi-player game. Your oponent will be another player rather than the computer. I don't play multi-player games. My oponents tend to wander off in the middle of the game. |
Every 1 to 2 weeks a new game is chosen and you have a
chance to win a trophy by beating the score they select. If this week's
game is one you enjoy, why not try to win a trophy?
I usually enjoy these games, but since they vary, I can't really rate or compare this one. |
Neopets lists this a medium, but I've had more trouble with this than some of the hard games. The controls take a lot of getting used to (at least they did for me). One good thing about it is two people can challenge each other on the same computer. If you have a friend over, why not use this as a way to introduce them to Neopets?
Every week a new picture will be released. Think of the
best, wittiest, funniest caption to the picture and submit it. It will
not show up until the next day, though.
I like this one, but it's hard to win. Of course, the more creative you are, the better your chances will be. |
Your job is to visit the haunted carnival and take on the Robot Chia Clowns. Use the mouse to aim, and the mouse button to shoot. Collect the time, health, and ammo bonuses for more time, health, and ammo respectively. Normally, I'm not a big fan of "shooters" but for some reason I really like this one. |
Use all your skill and cunning to beat your opponents
in a breath taking game of cheat! If you beat the 3rd, 5th or 7th rounds
you also earn a trophy!
I haven't had much luck with this one, but this type of game really isn't my first choice. |
Neopets says: buy your cheese from the cheese shop, and then see how fast you can run down a hill with it. It's that simple! If you manage to get down the hill in under a minute, you get to keep the cheese! I still haven't figured this one out... |
Chia Bombers have invaded Geoffrey Chia's neighbourhood
and are attacking him a nd his friends with their nasty mud-slinging
bazookas. You play Geoffrey who has set out with his home made water-balloon
gun in an effort to drive them out of town.
I was not impressed. |
Help the chomby get the star, avoid the killer fungus
balls, and return to the starpad.
*yawn* Personally I prefer games that require thought so most arcade style games don't interest me. There are better ones on this site. |
Basically a Tetris clone. If you get 4 lines at once,
then Sylvester Kacheek will parachute down to help you.You have to press
the k button to summon Sylvester Kacheek, but make sure you have the
bonus active (by getting 4 lines at once), or nothing will happen.
I'm not a tetris fan. My spatial skills are not that great. |
Hangman with a Neopian twist. I play it from time to time when I have some time to kill. Click here for Cliffhanger answers. I suggest playing on the hardest setting. It gives you more np at a time. |
Try to figure out the codestone pattern. There are four
codestone in each puzzle, and there can be more than one of the same.
This is a great game if you like puzzles and have an analytical mind. Otherwise, you probably won't like it at all. I really like this one. |
Build your perfect Carl's Jr Cool Kids burger using the Stack-A-Burger. After your are finished creating your perfect burger, you can print it out to show others. Its just for fun, so there are no Neopoints to be earned. I was not impressed. |
The Country Bears are five festive musicians who love belting out a tune, but they're gonna need your help to save Country Bear Hall. Pay close attention as they play their instruments, then click on the bears in the order that they played. If you can match them note-for-note, then Country Bear Hall will be saved!. Just a product placement form of Techo Says... |
This is an interesting game. Once every 12 hours, you can get a quest from the Dark Faerie, Jhudora. You only have a few minutes to find the random item she asks you to fetch. If you get the item in time, she increases your overall score and occasionally gives you an item. If you fail, your score is wiped clean and you have to start completely over...in 12 hours. Unlike the Uber Faerie Quests (random events) you can use the Shop Wizard to help you find what she wants. |
The aim of the game is to hit the ball into the opponents
goal. Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and the up arrow to
move forward.
I found the controls to be very awkward. You can play a two-person version, though. Note: Dubloons are not being awarded at this time due to the cheaters. See the News for March 6, 2003 |
Q-Bert style game where you change the tiles to a different color as you move across them. Pick up coins and avoid the pirates to increase your score. If you get killed, you can start from the same level up to three times, but you will lose 30 points. . May not be that great if you are an arcade style game fan, but if you like puzzles, it's lots of fun. Note: Dubloons are not being awarded at this time due to the cheaters. See the News for March 6, 2003 |
For some reason, I really like this game. Make your mark in Tyrannia by destroying all the coloured blocks in your path. Match up the coloured blocks then crush them into dust. The less moves you destroy everything in, the higher your score. This is an easy way to make thousands of np every day. |
There are five dice that you roll one at a time. You start with the red die, then move to the blue, the green, the yellow, and lastly the silver die. This is one of my all time favorite games on this site. Once you get to the green die, you can start winning food. By the time you get to the silver die, you can win faeries. If you like games of chance, this is a great one. |
You play Dorak, an enterprising young Krawk in a rowing boat. Try and salvage as much of the treasure as possible, but avoid the homing mines that are being fired from the Black Pawkeet. Use the left and right arrow keys to turn, up arrow key to accelerate and the down arrow key to reverse. This is one of the few new games that isn't a glorified (but profitable) product placement. |
Use the Arrow Keys to get the petpets to safety before Balthazar eats them all. You automatically pick up each petpet as you touch it (use the Space Bar to drop the petpet). You have three lives, and you lose one each time you, or a petpet gets eaten. Picking up a Snowflake will freeze Balthazar temporarily, and picking up an orange speed orb will give you a temporary burst of speed. Fun and mindless...if the "cute" factor doesn't overwhelm you. |
Mutant Fuzzles are attacking the Virtupets Space Station. You play Zygorax, a third class maintenance worker responsible for waste disposal... but instead of neocola cans and juppie stalks, today you have to dispose of something far far scarier... Earn points for each kill, and spend these at the end of each level to upgrade your walker. This is an old-style arcade "shooter" where you shoot the invading fuzzles who fly at you from random directions while also trying to remove the bombs they have planted along the way. |
Now that Garon has escaped from the Ice
Caves, he asked the Faerie Queen to create a greater challenge.
Wander through the maze picking up goodies and avoiding traps. You can do this with practice. Click here for my walkthrough for Faerie Caves. |
Hop into your Cloud Racer, and try to head your opponent off with your thick smoke trails. Use the arrow keys to navigate the racer. Try and last as long as possible against a variety of opponents without hitting either the walls or either of the two smoke trails left by your racers. You can also play this game 2 player against a friend. |
Solve the crossword puzzle about Neopia as fast as you can.You can win up to 2000np if you are fast enough. I've never taken the time to play this, but daytonakit loves it. Maybe I'll get around to playing it soon... |
Navigate through the maze in a limited number of moves to find both a target object and the exit. I didn't really care for this one. You cannot see the object or the exit unless you are actually on it...then you only see a line of text saying you've found it. At least it's not another product placement, though. |
At Foodclub, the object of the game is to place bets on the pirate(s) that you think will win in an eating competition. You must be wise in your decisions, as there are many factors that need to be taken into account when placing your bet. I haven't really had time to play this one, yet. |
You get one spin every day and if the first two fruits
match you win a prize. If all three fruits match you win a really big
prize!
It's free, so that's a big plus. I seldom win anything, though. I think Tombola is better. Even if you don't draw a winning number in Tombola, you still get something. |
Fruits will fall from the top of the screen, use the left and right arrow keys to move the fruits, and the space bar to rotate the fruits. The aim is to use the bombs (the fruits with the spark on) to blow up fruits of the same type. If you fill up the entire play area with fruits, its game over. Just your basic "Tetris" clone. |
When Neopets labeled this as "hard", they weren't kidding! I'm still trying to figure out the rules...they are insane! If you want to play this, you better print out the rules first. I hope you have better luck than I have had so far. |
This game is similar to the party game "hot potato". The goal is to not have the water balloon when it explodes. This is a really great game for younger kids, but anyone else probably wouldn't care for it that much unless they were really bored. |
Choose from two to ten eggs on the board. The Grarrl will roar, and ten eggs will hatch into baby Grarrls. If any of the numbers you chose match the eggs that hatch, you could be in for a big prize. All luck, no skill involved. |
The snowbeasts are attacking our Grundos with snowballs. Help them fight back. Your very own snowball fight. Requires no thought, just quick reflexes. Great if you want to play when your mind is on autopilot. |
Use the arrow keys to control Zygron, and the m key to hit the ball. Both players in the court take it in turn to hit the ball against the wall, and if the ball goes out of bounds, the last person to hit it gets a point, first player to give points wins *yawn* |
You act as the gym trainer by moving the mouse back and forth over the ball at just the right speed to keep the ball green. Neopets removed the link to this on their game site, but it still works . Every time you complete 5 levels, you get a lifetime membership card (which increases your winnings by 1000np every day). You can only complete one level every 24 hrs. and Level 5 is tough, but it's a lot of fun. |
Pick a card and hope it is the one your pet picks, too. It costs 10 np per play and you win up to 50 np if you guess correctly...not particularly good odds. |
The name pretty much says it all. You get one guess each day, and that's pretty much it...
| Sorry, there are no games starting with "h" yet. | |||||||||
Garon the Lupe has become stranded in the endless, mysterious Neopian Ice Caves. Can you help him get to the exit? Collect treasure chests and gems for points, avoid falling snowballs, and get keys to open doors. Still haven't mastered this. I lost interest in it when the Faerie Caves puzzle came out. |
Adee the Chia is raiding the local Ice Cream factory to try and get a tasty bite to eat, but has been surprised when she sets the alarm off and is fired upon by the security Ice Cream cannons. Help Adee dodge the vicious scoops of ice-cream and navigate her way through the box-filled warehouse to pick up as many points as possible! Great game for little kids. |
Use the arrow keys to control Foreman Buzz to put the correctly coloured jellies into their appropriately labelled chutes for processing. If any ice cream comes down the conveyor belt, feed it to the Hungry Skeith. Use the space bar to pick up and drop the jelly and ice cream. Totally mindless, but I suppose it could be good if you need to waste time. |
Neopian spin on the casino favorite. You play against your pet. Same rules as Black Jack: closest to 21 wins. Blackjack pays 50% more than a normal win. If you like Black Jack then you will probably like this one. Otherwise, better skip it. |
Quick and easy way to earn 500np or more per day. This is one of my first stops when I need a little extra np. I just don't understand why this is in the Luck/Chance area... Select the location you want your pet to hide in. Click where you think your pet is hiding. Keep playing until your pet is bored. |
Match the kiko pairs as quickly as you can in this fast and furious game of concentration. The faster you complete it the higher your score. Match up each pair of kikos as fast as possible to win. Score more than 110, and neopets will double your score. This is great quick np maker. |
Simply click on the Mortog you think is the prince (or princess). If you are lucky, you win Neopoints - you can collect those Neopoints or continue. Unfortunately non-magical Mortogs HATE being kissed... and explode as a result. When this happens you lose ALL the Neopoints you would have won. Very similar to "Guess the Card". |
Dr. Sloth has stored all the ingredients to make his Transmogrification Potions in a mysterious old evil laboratory full of nasty Korbats and Spyders. Your mission is to go in there armed with your trusty bat and smash as many boxes as possible to foil Sloth's evil plans! When the potion bottles drop, pick them up, you never know what will happen! The Neopets version of Breakout. This is one of the few games for Fall/Winter 2001 that is not a product endorsement. I really like this game. I expect to become totally addicted to it soon. |
Underneath the Golden Dubloon restaurant is a dingy, small little room used solely for gambling. Only one game is played - Krawps, possibly the most confusing game ever to hit the shores of Krawk Island, or, well.. the whole of Neopia for that matter. Be sure to go over the rules for this one... |
Every week a new brain teasing riddle will be posted here. Only the first 250 correct answers will win anything, though. Remember, never send or buy items in exchange for the answer. It's never worth the price you pay. |
Click on the Babaa with the puzzle you want to solve, and then use the number pad to type the answer in and hit the Enter key. The return of an old favorite. Anybody else remember "Alien Invasion"? |
Chase the negg down and earn points in this great test of reflexes. A quick reminder: If you win one of the magical meerca plushies, DO NOT play with it unless you want your pet to turn into a meerca! This is a great time waster. Loads of fun. |
Guide Kiaran the Kyrii through the pyramid to try and collect as much gold as possible. Watch out for the Scorchio mummies, flames, and many other devious traps. If you take too long to complete the level, a floating skull will come after you. This game is starting to grow on me... |
Mutant Graveyard is actually a pretty fun little game, and unlike most of the new games, it's not a giant product placement. You play Albert (who has been transmogrified by the Esophagor), and your job is to enter the Mutant Graveyard of Doom and collect enough food to appease the Esophagor. Watch out for the Ghostkerchiefs, walking gravestones, and of course the hideous tentacled eyeball beast. Quickly pick up the Spooky Food for the Esophagor without being zapped. |
Every week neopets will put up a blown up picture of something found somewhere on the site. Only the first 500 correct answers win anything. This is a great little game if you are really detail oriented. Remember, never send or buy items in exchange for the answer. It's never worth the price you pay. |
Mine sweeper with a Neopian twist. Clear away all the bad neggs. I'm not a big fan of mine-sweeper. (Of course, darkholder loved it...) If you like mine-sweeper, this is a pretty good version. If you don't, then you'll want to skip it. |
Battle the computer or another player. Show off all those abilities you have earned from releasing all those bottled faeries. I prefer the computer, since you don't have to wait for your oponent to show up. |
The Neopian Stock Market is a place where you can invest in companies and hopefully make a profit by trading shares with other people. How good are you at predicting which ones will go up in value? I don't play this one, but I suppose I'll try it sooner or later. |
In this Neopian style casino favorite, you have to get a better hand of cards than your pet. Each hand costs 3np. If you win, you get 5np, the actual value of the cards don't matter. I prefer games with bigger payouts and better odds. |
Each of your pets may play their own game of NeoQuest -- simply change
your active pet, and you will access their personal game. The goal
of NeoQuest is to save Neopia from...well, I wouldn't want to spoil
it for you. I am currently addicted to this game. I'm not sure why it was moved to the PUZZLE games, though... |
Dress up your favourite Scorchio, Chia, JubJub, Aisha, Blumaroo or Kacheek in the latest fashions. Get the correct combinations and see the hidden movies. No neopoints, but some of these are pretty funny. |
Guide the Nimmo around the pool, collecting the power-up bugs and shooting the lily pads. Clear all the lily pads to advance to the next pond, but don't bump into them as you will lose health. Really didn't care for the controls on this one. |
You play Shuggu, a Tyrannian Shoyru. Your job - to use your three weapons to shoot the invading Tyrannians as fast as possible, and to make sure they don't get to eat your lunch. Use the arrow keys to move Shuggu, and the space bar to fire. To defeat the enemies you must use the correct weapon, as shown below : Skeith: Wooden Catapult |
